Surin Pitsuwan Oration - "Human Security Now: Navigating Turbulence in a Fractured World"

Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect  invite you to attend the Surin Pitsuwan Oration, titled: “Human Security Now: Navigating Turbulence in a Fractured World"

This oration honours the legacy of the late Dr Surin Pitsuwan, a distinguished Thai statesman, former ASEAN Secretary-General, and Chair of the High-Level Advisory Panel on the Responsibility to Protect in Southeast Asia. Dr Surin was tireless in his advocacy for democracy, human rights, and regional integration until his passing on 30 November 2017.

Delivered by Professor Dr .Mely Caballero-Anthony, Head of the Centre for Non-Traditional Security Studies and President's Chair in International Relations and Security Studies, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Nanyang Technological University.
