There are lots of ways to get involved in the Centre’s work to promote and operationalize the Responsibility to Protect.

 

Independent Study Projects on offer in Summer Semester 2010/11

The Centre will be hosting a wide range of independent study projects in Summer Semester 2010/11. The full list of these topics will be posted here shortly.
Applications for these summer projects close 1 NOVEMBER 2010. To make an application, please send the following information to either Dr. Deborah Mayersen ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ), Program Leader for the Prevention of Mass Atrocities, or Annie Pohlman ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ), Program Leader for R2P in Southeast Asia:

  • Your C.V./Resume;
  • A copy of your academic record to date, including a full list of subjects studied and the results for each; and
  • A short statement (no more than 500 words) outlining (a) which topic/s you wish to study and (b) why you would be an appropriate choice.

Interns and Volunteers

Interns and volunteers play a vital role in supporting the Centre’s work at its offices in Australia and Indonesia. These positions offer opportunities to engage in research, policy analysis, and advocacy and outreach. Click here for information about Current Vacancies .

 

Student Coalition

If you are a student anywhere in the Asia-Pacific Region you can become a member of the Asia-Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect Student Coalition. The Student Coalition is an autonomous network of students committed to the goals of promoting and operationalizing the Responsibility to Protect.
