Dr. Noel M. Morada is Research Fellow of the Centre and currently co-chair of the Asia Pacific Working Group of the Global Action Against Mass Atrocity Crimes (GAAMAC).  He is former Director (Regional Diplomacy) of the Centre for over 14 years and coordinated regional programs in Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Indonesia, The Philippines, and Thailand) and Northeast Asia (Japan and South Korea).  His research interest and publications include atrocities prevention in Myanmar and the Philippines, as well as regional security issues in ASEAN, the South China Sea conflict, and the role of major powers in managing regional peace and security.  He is former Professor of Political Science at the Department of Political Science, University of the Philippines Diliman and a 2008 Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), The Johns Hopkins University in Washington DC.
