APR2P and APPAP have endorsed a new statement, signed by hundreds of organisations, for ASEAN states to heed the UN Secretary-General’s call for a ceasefire. All states have a responsibility to protect their populations from atrocity crimes. This statement calls for states to ensure conflict sensitivity and human rights in responding to the COVID 19 crisis.
