APPAP Member Statement on The Philippines, 29 June 2020.

30 Jun 2020

The Asia Pacific Partnership for Atrocity Prevention (APPAP) has released a statement urging the government of The Philippines to not sign into law a new anti-terrorism bill. The bill has the potential to heighten the risks of human rights violations and atrocity crimes in a country already suffering from extrajudicial killings and other human rights abuses.

The statement can be downloaded from the 'Statements' section on our Publications page. Alternatively, it can be accessed from the APPAP website.
