NEW PATRON: Centre welcomes Dr Surin Pitsuwan
Dr Surin Pitsuwan becomes a Patron of the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect
The Centre is pleased to announce its newest patron, Dr. Surin Pitsuwan. A former Secretary-General of ASEAN and former Foreign Minister of Thailand, Dr. Surin is among the leading champions of human security in the Asia Pacific region, and a great champion of R2P.
As the work of the APR2P Centre continues to develop into its 8th year, so too does the list of mentors who ensure our work into mass atrocity prevention remains current, relevant and influential in the Asia Pacific and beyond.
Dr Pitsuwan is our 15th Patron, and the 4th to join us this year. Meet the rest of our distinguished Patrons.
