Almost 700 civil society actors from across Asia met in Jakarta from September 1st to 3rd. 2023. They participated in a series of talks, workshops, advocacy stands and art displays, aimed at highlighting the presence of ongoing human rights violations in the region.
APR2P hosted a workshop on the implementation of the Responsibility to Protect, with a specific focus on atrocity crimes committed in the region. The workshop brought together practitioners who spoke on the emerging crises in Myanmar, West Papua, Mindanao, as well as past atrocities in Cambodia.
