Researcher biography

Dr. Ouyang is an Atrocity Prevention Analyst with a focus on multinational corporations and the private sector as agents of prevention. Her country-specific expertise is Myanmar. She received her PhD in 2024, with research examining China’s approach to peace and its practical implementation in Myanmar. She also holds two Master’s degrees in International Relations and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Her research interests include Chinese foreign policy—particularly in relation to Myanmar—as well as the role of the private sector in atrocity prevention.
