Dr Veneracion-Rallonza is a feminist political scientist and an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science at Ateneo de Manila University in The Philippines. She is also the Director of APR2P's Philippine Office, and co-chairs APPAP's Gender and Atrocity Prevention Working Group.

Her research interests and advocacy efforts include women in politics, women's human rights in armed conflict situations, transnational women's movements, international norms against wartime rape and sexual violence and women's politics at the margins.

 She is also a frequent lecturer for the Ateneo-United Nations University of Peace in Costa Rica.
