Background
Professor Bellamy is a Board member for the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Queensland, Australia. He was formerly the Director for over 15 years .He is also a Non-Resident Senior Advisor at the International Peace Institute in New York and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. He holds a PhD (University of Wales, 2001), an MA (Staffordshire, 1997) and a BA with honours (Hull, 1996).
