Dr McLoughlin is a Lecturer in International Relations at the Department of History and Politics at Liverpool Hope University. He is also the Deputy Director of the Desmond Tutu Centre for War and Peace Studies.
His research covers comparative genocide studies, mass atrocity and conflict prevention and R2P.
