New Asia Pacific Regional Outlook - October 2021

21 Oct 2021

APR2P has released its latest issue of the Asia Pacific Regional Outlook for October 2021.

Myanmar, China, and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea remain at very high risk, with ongoing atrocity crimes occurring within their borders. Fiji has recently become a heightened risk due to the enaction of laws and lack of transparency in government processes regarding the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overviews of sexual and gender-based violence, and hate speech and incitement within the Asia Pacific region are also included.

The Regional Outlook can be downloaded here (PDF, 1.4MB), or accessed from our Regional Outlooks page, along with previous publications.
