A new report written by APR2P corresponding author Professor Mely Caballero-Anthony reviews efforts by ASEAN and the international community in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar following the February 2021 coup.
It asks how ASEAN can effectively uphold the values and norms outlined in the ASEAN Charter and the ASEAN Political Security Community in the face of widespread atrocities and increasing human insecurity for the people of Myanmar.
