Dr. Sara Lindberg Bromley is a Visiting Academic and postdoctoral researcher at the Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect and School of Political Science and International Studies at the University of Queensland.

She is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University in Sweden, where she received her PhD in 2017. Sara’s principal areas of research relate to international peace operations, military organisations, political violence, and civil war dynamics, including civilian protection and peacekeeping personnel’s safety and security, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

Sara’s current project focuses on understanding the intentional targeting of peacekeeping personnel and is funded by the Swedish Research Council  (VR International Postdoc).
