Dr. Sara Lindberg Bromley is a researcher and lecturer at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, Sweden. She will be a visiting academic with APR2P and POLSIS until mid-2024, conducting research as part of a postdoc project funded by the Swedish Research Council.

Her principal areas of research relate to international peace operations, political violence and civil war dynamics, including civilian protection and peacekeeping personnel’s safety and security, with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

She is the project leader of Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP) Peacemakers at Risk (PAR) data collection project and was Director of the Uppsala Rotary Peace Center between 2019 and 2020.
